Refund Policy

Non-refundable payments

Payments are non-refundable, including subscription renewals and one-time purchases, except where required by law. Type does not offer change-of-mind refunds, prorated refunds, or credits for unused time. Mandatory consumer rights and Paddle’s applicable buyer terms and refund policy, including refunds Paddle may grant, still apply.

This policy applies to purchases made under this version after publication. Earlier purchases, and renewals governed by their earlier terms, keep the refund rights promised at purchase. This update does not remove those rights.

Read Paddle’s Buyer Terms at https://www.paddle.com/legal/buyer-terms and Refund Policy at https://www.paddle.com/legal/refund-policy. Submit refund requests through https://paddle.net/. Paddle assesses requests under applicable law, its buyer policies and its operational discretion.

Purchasing and billing

Purchasing is available only when Type explicitly enables checkout. This policy does not itself activate billing. When available, Paddle is the reseller and Merchant of Record for Type web purchases.

Web purchases

The offers, when enabled, are USD 3.99 monthly and USD 29.99 yearly. Monthly and yearly subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Paddle calculates applicable tax and displays the final amount before commitment. Applicable Paddle terms and non-waivable consumer rights also apply. No app-store availability is promised by this web policy.

Cancellation is not a refund. Cancelling a subscription stops renewal; paid subscription access continues through its verified paid-through date, then that paid subscription source ends. Any independent administrator-granted Premium continues when active.

For an existing web purchase, use Manage billing in Type or paddle.net for billing help, cancellation, and any refund you may be entitled to. Type support may help locate the correct path, but will never ask for a complete card number, bank account number, password, authentication token, or recovery code.

Access and account deletion

An approved refund, chargeback, reversal, or fraud decision may remove the related Premium entitlement. A full refund or chargeback revokes the associated paid access; a partial adjustment requires review instead of changing access automatically. It never locks local writing, documents, manual exports, or local backups. Deleting a Type profile does not cancel or refund a provider purchase. This wording correction does not change rights attached to earlier purchases or grants. Tonic ID's default subscription-deletion path cancels renewal and waits through paid access; an explicit immediate deletion ends access immediately. Neither deletion path submits a refund.
