Install the web app
Open the editor at writewithtype.com. On desktop Chrome, use the menu (⋮) → Cast, save, and share → Install page as app. On desktop Edge, use Settings and more (…) → More tools → Apps → Install this site as an app. Confirm Install, then launch Type from your apps. Menu availability varies; using a browser tab still works. This is the web app, not a native download. An internet connection is still required. Installation does not back up your local writing; export before clearing site or app data. Native apps for macOS, Windows, Linux, iOS/iPadOS, and Android are coming soon.
